I have used my worx trimmer for 3 months and I have to say that I am very impressed with this little powerhouse. I have an acre lot and the worx takes care of it not problem, but I do recommend that you get a second battery because you do start to notice loss in power after about 25 minutes.. No problem. Just pop that second battery on and you are good to go! I also would recommend following the instructions as they tell you to completely drain the batteries after the first 5 uses because this does help the battery time increase to its full capacity as I have started to recognize. It is a little powerhouse like I said, but it isn't going to take down those extra thick patches of weed(it will get most of it but not all). But for normal yard work it will definitely get the job done!! I was skeptical at first, but not anymore and I highly anticipate receiving the leaf blower. Battery power is so much better than mixing oil and gas any day of the week. This is a fantastic tool and a great buy.

October 26, 2009 Just finished 2nd full season with this fantastic product. I have told anyone who will listen about what an incredible, time saving tool it is. Brothers in law were skepticle of battery power. Got a chance to show em in person on 4th of July, both purchased one and rave about them. By the way i just received 6 more spools of replacement line for free (well almost, shipping came to $4.98) you cant beat this deal !!!!

I received my 2 in 1 Cordless Lawn Trimmer on October 7th, put it together in a manner of minutes, charged the battery and was using it late that afternoon. It is wonderful with just one reservation. I live in a part of the US where the grass grows all year round. We suffer drought issues so it is best to keep your lawn deep. Given the fact the grass is deep, the edger feature is not as good as I would like. I am going to have to find how to keep the line long enough to edge top to bottom. Otherwise, it is marvelous and I would highly recommend it. I am going to need to get a second battery as I have a large yard with lots of trimming and edging and the charge lasts only about 30 minutes.

I ordered the Worx in July and after a few uses it was not holding it's charge as long as I needed it to complete my job, but after speaking with customer service, they replace the battery free of charge. I am pleased with the results, being somewhat disable with arthritis, the ergonomical design is right for me. Thanks , and I will recommend this product to my friends

I purchased my edger/trimmer about a yr and a half ago and had a problem with it rattling after a couple of months. I returned it for replacement and was treated very well. That is something rare these days for a compnay to have enough pride in their product to stand behind it. Their response was immediate and friendly. I love this thing. My daughter borrows it frequently so I'm going to buy her one for Christmas. I'm going to get her the older one like I have as she has a very small yard and this will work fine for her even with one battery.

I purchased the WORXGT 18 V Lithium Battery unit and love it. I have a 1/2 acre lot and a lot of landscaping and garden areas. I used it twice so far and never ran out of charge. I keep moving and could not believe how light it is. I havent used the egder yet but thats coming. No more tapping I love the autofeed.

My husbanc and I have owned the WorxGT 18V for about a year. I almost killed him when he told me what he spent, but we are FINALLY in need of more line a year later - ANYONE CAN GET FREE LINE BY ORDERING ON LINE UNDER ACCESSORIES - there is no sign up required. This is great for a person like me who can't find her receipt and needs line. I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE! WE LOVE WORX products! And their customer service line is very helpful as well. All around A+!

I have had this product for 2 years and I could not be more satisfied. I just simply love the Worx GT. I intend to purchase 2 more as gifts for a couple of friends because it is lightweight and puts less pressure on the back than most items. I would suggest however that if the handle could extend for me, I am 6 ft, which would prevent me from needing to ever bend over. I wish I were the spokesperson for this product because I only believe my sincerity would at least double the current sales -- I am sold.

Love the 'twosome', as a senior lady I do my own work now close to home instead of having to hire it done, love the Worx machines, but, find I could use another battery so as to 'keep working' which I care to do. Excellent!!!

This is a true review for anyone skeptical. I have owned the trimmer / edger for almost two years. I live on a corner lot with lots of sidewalk and fence. I own an electric edger and a gas edger/trimmer, but the WORX product is just so much easier and quicker. The weed trimmer is normal, but the best thing is the edger. This is by far the best and easiest edger out there for the money. Light weight, it does not leave you in with back pain like the others.The battery life is very good at first but like many nicad batteries, it loses performance over time. I highly recommend getting the two batteries and you can get through just about anything , and do it quickly. My neighbors envy me when they see me outside breezing through my edging and trimming. There could be small improvements (as with all things) the wheels get dirty easy and could be bigger , and the auto feed function could be better, but overall I rate this a 8.5 out of 10 with all things considered.
Other 18v trimmers cost the same and all they do is trim.Gas edgers and trimmers kill your back and cost more, and electric edgers are impractical for big yards, etc. This tool is the perfect for older folks, women, or anyone who wants to be pain free after edging and trimming. The Home Depot near me just started selling this tool, so I must not be the only one who recognizes just how valuable this can be with the time , and energy you save using it. I would like to try the lithium battery trimmer but I think I will wait until the one I have quits on me.

I bought myself one and my daughter one- also got the extra batteries- Best weed eater I ever bought- works great is light weight- can get the whole 1 acre yard with lots of trees and 3 out buildings done on 1 battery- if the weeds are tall then I may have to just start on using the 2nd battery but not very often so I switch them out-only used one spool of line in 1-1/2 years.. Would recomend it highly...

I RECEIVED MY EDGER/TRIMMER A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO AND AFTER SEEING IT ON TV SO MUCH I COULD NOT WAIT TO SEE IT WORK. SO WHEN I DID GET A CHANCE TO TRY IT I LOVED IT!! HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO REALLY PUT IT TO THE TEST BUT WHEN I DO I WILL POST ANOTHER COMMENT

I purchased my Worx-GT Trimmer/Edger in March 2009 after seeing the infomercial several times, and after my existing gas-weed eater quit working.
I must admit I was still skeptical even after ordering. But once I received it. I was very pleased. It works just like the commercial says. I do recommend that if you have a large yard to purchase two batteries with your unit. I like mine so much that I just purchased the Worx Blower...I can't wait to receive it.

I've had my trimmer about a year now and I've never had a yard tool that I've used so much! The battery lasts about as long as my energy, so we work well together. The light weight and ease of handling make it perfect for a silver-haired lady.
