The Worx W150 was a gift and I LOVE IT!! - If you ever used a gas / corded weed wacker you will love this one - NO GAS - NO CORDS. Light weight and easy to use. Five stars for this product. I'm now phurchasing a second battery since I forget to charge the other one.

The works trimmer is great! The self feeding line is a plus! Its so easy to use and lightweight. It sure beats having to get the tangled extension cords out and dealing with them getting caught around every corner of my house. I do have a problem with the battery draining before i can get the both front and back yard done. So I just do front one day and back on the next. If there were only a stronger longer lasting battery... it would be pretty close to perfect!

Ni-Cad batteries if not fully discharged before re-charging will develope a charging memory - this is why the battery life gets shorter and shorter - sometimes this will work - take the re-charged battery and run it until it stops - let it sit for an hour or so and run it some more to get the rebound charge out - repeat this cycle to break the memory in the Ni-Cad - be paitent - it takes some time. I have successful broken the memory. You will to if the battery is not shot. Good Luck

I purchased my Works Gt three months ago and I love it. I was having problems with my battery before I received the following information. The battery must be ran down completely and if it is warm it will not charge until it is cooled down. Then it takes a full charge. If this does not work place your battery in the freezer over nite, take it out and let it come back to room temperature before attempting to recharge. I dont know how or why it works it just did for me. I have had to do the freezer trick twice. I am going to have to break down and purchase an extra battery eventually. I just haven't done so yet.

I found that when i completely drained the battery, placing it on the charger did not result in turning on the red LED showing charging. However, i did leave it on and the light came on red in about an hour and did charge to green in the standard time, the battery worked fine after the charge. I have since had several charges in this manor with no problems.

I purchased the worx GT last spring 2008.. Used it all summer, fall, spring and summer2009 without a problem. Having 1 1/2 acer lawn fenced, keeping it clean and clear is no longer a chore and around the house and out buildings are a breeze... It takes both batteries, recharging them once to get it done every 2 to 3 wks. I love the worx and recomend to everyone..

Ni-Cad batteries are supposed to be COMPLETELY drained before they are returned to the charger. If you use the tool and the battery is still going, DO NOT put it back on the charger until the battery will not run at all. Hope this helps.

I only recieved 1 battery and was paid for two. My battery does not take a charge or work at all now. I bought my WG150 trimmer/edger last year. I have bregged about my trimmer to everyone and am a little embarrassed now that the battery won't charge. Please do let me know what can be done to rectify my situation.
